SolEngineering
In order to provide an efficient engineering service, we use the latest terrain surveying equipment. With our satellite-aided Leica surveying equipment, we survey selected terrain based on information from up to 24 satellites to obtain x, y and z-coordinates, which then form the basis for a digital, three-dimensional terrain model.
This allows us to quickly estimate, after determining the basic constructional data (fixed or tracking systems), the amount of photovoltaic power that can be generated on the selected area of land.
A system layout can now be prepared for the type of photovoltaic system selected using the acquired basic data, taking into account specific shade calculations. Included in the plan, for example, are the size of the strings and area topography, row configuration, and in the case of fixed photovoltaic systems, adaptation of the module racks to the modules. The ramming post coordinates are automatically determined and fixed in the CAD plan.
The fitters who install the module racks no longer require batter boards or tape measure for positioning the ramming posts, since the coordinates generated on CAD level are precisely pinpointed within the area using a computer-aided measuring point finder and marked. This ensures very fast installation and precise assembly of the module rack rows.
In the CAD plan, several layouts are superimposed in logical sequence.
- Terrain coordinates form the outer frame of the plan.
- Row plan or tracker layout represents the power-related output of the planned area.
- Optimal module rack planning, adapted to the modules and strings, is the preliminary stage of the frame ramming post coordinate plan.
- An enclosure plan defines the outer perimeters of the photovoltaic system.
- Cable trenches and cable plans facilitate quantity calculations.
- Also prepared are cable cross-section calculations with power loss calculations.
- Diverse layouts for DC and AC planning using E-Plan software form the basis for the component wiring.
- Depending on the size of the photovoltaic system, the complete transformer substation can be included in the planning.
- Important in particular for operating supervision of the photovoltaic system is the planning of a monitoring system including a reliable telephone connection.
- Site logistic plans round off our engineering services.
In detailed technical documentation, the commissioned solar expert is provided with information relating to the engineering services provided for the purpose of evaluation and as a basis for the preparation of a sound solar expertise, which serves as a solid foundation for sound financing. With the data obtained from the plan, specifications can be prepared containing all components and quantities for reliable calculation of the photovoltaic project.
